Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in art outsourcing for games, film, or animation, with a proven track record of successfully managing outsourced art projects
  • Strong understanding of 3D art production pipelines and workflows, along with familiarity with various art styles and techniques
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to clearly articulate feedback and expectations
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in project management tools like Trello or Jira
  • A keen eye for quality assurance, with the ability to maintain high standards and address issues proactively
  • A genuine passion for digital avatars, gaming, and emerging technologies such as collectibles and virtual worlds

Responsibilities

  • Communicate daily with external art vendors to ensure smooth collaboration
  • Review and provide feedback on art assets to maintain quality
  • Track project progress and manage deadlines consistently
  • Negotiate project scope and pricing on a weekly basis
  • Onboard new vendors periodically (monthly or quarterly)
  • Research and implement new pipeline tools as needed (typically quarterly)
  • Troubleshoot production challenges whenever they arise
  • Collaborate with internal art directors on style guides to uphold artistic standards

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have an understanding and knowledge of digital collectibles and Web3 standards and necessities
  • Have experience working in a startup or scaleup environment
  • Love to play games and understand gaming culture
