Assistant Finance Administrator

Summary

The Assistant Finance Administrator manages client invoices and payments in Scorpion's accounting department using proprietary software. They respond to client and internal requests, perform data entry, and participate in goal-driven opportunities. The ideal candidate has 6 months to 1 year of billing and collections experience or equivalent education, is familiar with ERP and CRM systems, and possesses excellent attention to detail and communication skills.

Requirements

• 6 months - 1 year of billing and collections experience or equivalent relevant higher education experience in payroll/accounting courses
• Technology: Savvy with ERP & CRM systems (QuickBooks, Salesforce, MS Dynamics, NetSuite, etc), Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Google Sheets & Docs, Basic Adobe Acrobat functionality, and Familiarity with Sage Intacct or similar software
• 10-key by touch

Responsibilities

• Manage client invoices and payments
• Respond to both client and internal requests quickly and with high-quality communication
• Perform data entry/generation with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Participate in goal-driven opportunities to boost performance and encourage team members to hit their goals

Preferred Qualifications

Previous finance internships in a corporate environment or 2+ years of customer service experience
