Assistant Program Manager

Summary

The US-China Aviation Cooperation Program (ACP) is a unique public-private partnership organization that promotes safe and smart aviation development in China. The job involves managing program planning, coordination, resource allocation, and communication with both U.S. and Chinese government officials and aviation companies for the US-China ACP. This is an entry-level professional position requiring fluency in English and Mandarin, a strong writing ability in both languages, and an interest in aviation with a foreign affairs background.

Responsibilities

• Manage program planning, coordination, resource planning
• Communicate with both U.S. and Chinese government officials and aviation companies
• Develop policy and programs with ACP leadership
• Develop and manage relationships and joint programs with Chinese civil aviation authorities
• Assist ACP committees develop work programs, manage current programs, USTDA grant activities, membership, etc
• Manage new projects in close coordination with ACP's membership and US government (USTDA, US Embassy, etc.)
• Support event planning and event management
• Support other staff members
