Requirements

  • Experience : 1–2 years in a sales role within a B2B environment, or experience in HR tech, talent acquisition, or industry-related roles
  • Skills : Strong communication, curiosity, resilience, and digital selling skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote-first environment
  • Tools : Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot ideal) and sales enablement tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, 6sense)
  • Mindset: Motivated, collaborative, and quick to learn. Comfortable taking initiative and adapting to new challenges

Responsibilities

  • Pipeline Development & Prospecting : Build, manage, and grow a pipeline of qualified opportunities through proactive outbound prospecting, inbound lead follow-up, and partner referrals. Leverage tools like HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and 6sense to identify and engage potential clients
  • Full-Cycle Sales & Relationship Management : Own the entire sales process from prospecting to close, including post-sale relationship development to ensure ongoing value delivery. Collaborate with customer success and support to ensure client onboarding and satisfaction, knowing that commissions are tied to client usage rather than just contract signature
  • Discovery & Consultative Selling : Conduct discovery calls to uncover client needs and align them with Certn’s solutions. Deliver demos, handle initial objections, and advance opportunities through the early and mid stages of the sales cycle using methodologies such as BANT and MEDDIC
  • Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing : Work closely with marketing on campaign alignment, ICP feedback, and lead conversion. Share market insights, competitive intelligence, and best practices with the broader team
  • CRM & Reporting : Maintain accurate HubSpot records, track activities, and provide regular forecasting updates. Monitor pipeline health and ensure opportunities are progressing in line with sales targets

Preferred Qualifications

Located in the Greater Toronto Area and/or bilingual (English/French)
