Summary

Join Apogee Therapeutics as an Associate Director of Business Development & Strategy and contribute to shaping the company's corporate strategy. You will track competitive intelligence, attend industry conferences, collaborate cross-functionally, and support the leadership team. Responsibilities include executing strategic analyses, identifying new targets, and supporting business development discussions. This role requires a BS/BA in a scientific field (Ph.D., MD, MD/PhD, or PharmD preferred) and 2+ years of experience in professional services within healthcare or life sciences. Requirements

  • BS/BA degree in a scientific field or related discipline
  • 2+ years’ experience in professional services with a demonstrated focus on healthcare and/or life sciences (e.g., management consulting, equity research, investment banking)
  • Excellent communication skills with an ability to present to a variety of stakeholders (e.g., executives, KOLs, and non-technical audiences) and tailor message accordingly
  • Highly collaborative with the ability to work cross-functionally with teams across the organization

  • Clinical and scientific aptitude
  • Familiarity with the drug development process
  • Position requires up to 25% travel (US and international)

Responsibilities

  • Track competitive intelligence and monitor industry trends
  • Attend key scientific and medical conferences
  • Collaborate with other functions to support Apogee’s programs and business objectives
  • Support the Leadership Team to help develop and communicate the corporate strategy
  • Execute strategic analyses on behalf of the Executive Team and Board of Directors
  • Identify and conduct due diligence on new targets and in-licensing opportunities
  • Support business development and partnering discussions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ph.D., MD, MD/PhD, or PharmD
  • Experience in inflammatory & immunological therapeutic areas
  • Emerging leader with a growth mindset and willing to learn from others
