Join Apogee Therapeutics as an Associate Director of Business Development & Strategy and contribute to shaping the company's corporate strategy. You will track competitive intelligence, attend industry conferences, collaborate cross-functionally, and support the leadership team. Responsibilities include executing strategic analyses, identifying new targets, and supporting business development discussions. This role requires a BS/BA in a scientific field (Ph.D., MD, MD/PhD, or PharmD preferred) and 2+ years of experience in professional services within healthcare or life sciences. Requirements
- BS/BA degree in a scientific field or related discipline
- 2+ years’ experience in professional services with a demonstrated focus on healthcare and/or life sciences (e.g., management consulting, equity research, investment banking)
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to present to a variety of stakeholders (e.g., executives, KOLs, and non-technical audiences) and tailor message accordingly
- Highly collaborative with the ability to work cross-functionally with teams across the organization

- Clinical and scientific aptitude
- Familiarity with the drug development process
- Position requires up to 25% travel (US and international)
Responsibilities
- Track competitive intelligence and monitor industry trends
- Attend key scientific and medical conferences
- Collaborate with other functions to support Apogee’s programs and business objectives
- Support the Leadership Team to help develop and communicate the corporate strategy
- Execute strategic analyses on behalf of the Executive Team and Board of Directors
- Identify and conduct due diligence on new targets and in-licensing opportunities
- Support business development and partnering discussions
Preferred Qualifications
- Ph.D., MD, MD/PhD, or PharmD
- Experience in inflammatory & immunological therapeutic areas
