Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of high volume, fast-paced events experience
  • 3+ years of experience with client/relationship management experience
  • An eye for design and creative vision
  • An understanding of end-to-end event lifecycle management
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to thrive in a high-pressure environment
  • Desire to work hard, learn new skills, and grow professionally
  • Willingness to work early mornings and late nights
  • Willingness to travel regularly

Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day event logistics for some of our core products and special projects all while ensuring we remain true to our editorial standards
  • Manage operations and logistics
  • Provide support to team members
  • Serve as a liaison with event vendors
  • Brainstorm creative concepts to bring our events to life
  • Manage multiple, concurrent events while moving at a fast pace
  • Work cross-collaboratively with marketing, production, strategy and many other team members at Axios and will serve as an ambassador of Axios and the events team throughout the entire events process
  • Think outside the box and help us build the next new and exciting events
