Associate Director of International Expansion

Summary

This role involves executing an international expansion playbook, engaging stakeholders, assessing regulations, and identifying operational requirements for market entry. Based in Cairo or remotely within Egypt, you will analyze health insurance across MENA and other markets, segment expansion options, and build a network to support launches in new countries. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of international experience in emerging markets and a strong network of business executives and regulators. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working in international or cross-border roles, preferably within emerging markets, with transferable skills suited for driving international expansion
• Strong network of business executives, regulators and startup founders across multiple emerging markets
• Autonomous thinking and problem-solving aptitude
• Hands-on approach and willingness to build from 0 to 1
• Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Analyze and identify health insurance across MENA and other emerging markets
• Understand the different regulations and the requirements for a new player to enter such markets
• Segment and prioritize international expansion options for Reliance Health
• Executing the international expansion playbook of Reliance Health
• Build the right network in the different interesting countries (hiring candidates, advisors, supporters, etc.)
• Coordinate the launch of Reliance Health’s business in identified new countries

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in insurance / healthcare is a plus but not compulsory
