Associate Director of International Expansion

Summary

This remote role in Nigeria requires analyzing health insurance across Africa and other emerging markets, segmenting expansion options, and building a network of contacts. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in international roles, a strong network in emerging markets, and excellent communication and leadership skills. Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working in international or cross-border roles, preferably within emerging markets, with transferable skills suited for driving international expansion
• Strong network of business executive, regulators and startup founders across multiple emerging markets
• Autonomous thinking and problem-solving aptitude
• Hands-on approach and willingness to build from 0 to 1
• Excellent communication, leadership and organizational skills

Responsibilities

• Analyze and identify health insurance across Africa and other emerging markets
• Understand the different regulations and the requirements for a new player to enter such markets
• Segment and prioritize international expansion options for Reliance Health
• Executing the international expansion playbook of Reliance Health
• Build the right network in the different interesting countries (hiring candidates, advisors, supporters, etc.)
• Coordinate the launch of Reliance Health’s business in identified new countries

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in insurance / healthcare is a plus but not compulsory
