Summary

Join Control Risks as a highly motivated, detail-oriented Project Manager in Protective Services! This mid-senior level role supports project generation, management, and administration for global clients. You will act as a subject matter expert, coordinating services, managing administrative tasks, and nurturing a network of partners. The position requires 5-10 years of experience in private security, specific certifications, and a bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience). Requirements

  • Excellent English-language writing skills
  • Strong interpersonal communications and client facing skills
  • Strong financial literacy and understanding of business processes
  • 5-10 years of experience as a private security professional in some capacity in an operational role, in consulting or a combination of both
  • Security industry certifications such as CPP and or PSP
  • Executive protection training from a reputable training school (government or private)
  • Bachelor's degree (relevant military or law enforcement experience can be used as a substitute)
  • Exceptional written and interpersonal communications skills
  • Solid client relationship skills
  • Creative and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Able to multitask and balance competing requirements
  • Travel as needed (up to 50% of the time)

Responsibilities

  • Act as senior project manager responsible for entire project cycle in protective services including
  • Attend meetings with clients and prospects
  • Write proposals and reports for clients and prospects
  • Remotely coordinate and executive services including executive protection, workplace violence response services, event security, technical countersurveillance measures and other protective services
  • Manage administrative actions of the services business including contractor invoices, expenses and internal management systems
  • Maintain and nurture a vibrant network of partners/sub-contractors across the United States and Canada
  • Work closely with consultants in the Americas and globally on the delivery of Protective Services tasks
  • Undertake domestic travel for client engagements, sometimes at short notice on a semi-regular basis
  • Participate on other department consulting projects on as needed basis
