Summary

Join Apogee Therapeutics as an Associate Director on the People team, playing a key role in managing total rewards. This newly created position will involve designing and evolving Apogee’s total rewards strategy, supporting compensation and benefit programs, and ensuring compliance. You will partner with the Senior Director, Total Rewards, and other departments. The ideal candidate possesses a Bachelor's degree, 8-10 years of relevant experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a detail-oriented approach. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • 8-10 years’ experience working in total rewards strategy and implementation
  • Ability to create dynamic tools and models to interpret and analyze data
  • Detail-oriented, analytical thinker
  • Strong knowledge of Radford and other compensation and benefits survey tools
  • Strong communication skills with an ability to present to a variety of stakeholders and tailor message accordingly
  • Able to navigate ambiguity and has a high sense of urgency

  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 15% (approximately 6-10 times per year for company meetings)

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Senior Director, Compensation to design and evolve Apogee’s total rewards strategy, including base pay, bonus program, equity plan and benefits
  • Support the design, implementation, communication, and administration of Apogee’s compensation and benefit programs
  • Support Apogee’s annual compensation review and planning processes
  • Develop compensation recommendations for offers, promotions, and job changes
  • Maintain Apogee’s job architecture, including benchmarking new job families, career ladders and leadership competencies
  • Participate and complete industry compensation surveys
  • Support, prepare and present compensation & benefits analysis, materials, and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws, including pay transparency
  • Work closely with People Ops, Talent Acquisition, Finance, and Legal to ensure compliant administration of compensation and benefits

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in a fast-growing biotech company preferred
