Associate Insurance Product Manager in Worldwide

Summary

Lemonade is seeking an experienced Associate Insurance Product Manager to join their team focused on developing car insurance offerings. The candidate will collaborate with actuarial and underwriting experts, research market trends, manage ongoing product performance, and have a minimum of 4 years of P&C experience with 2+ years in personal lines and 2+ years in product management. Strong technical skills with Excel and SQL are required, as well as a bachelor's degree in a related field.

Requirements

• 4+ years of P&C experience, with 2+ years of relevant personal lines experience (car insurance strongly preferred)
• 2+ years of experience in product management
• Adept at working with and completing analysis on large data sets
• Collaborative spirit and top-notch communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree  in Finance, Economics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Insurance, or a related field
• Analytical, with a knack for identifying trends, communicating results, and taking action
• Strong technical skills with Excel and SQL, including building reports and dashboards

Responsibilities

• Partner with actuarial and underwriting experts to work on the development of coverage, pricing levels, and eligibility requirements
• Collaborate with the Insurance Operations team to facilitate regulatory approval for new features and work closely with the Product team to implement them
• Research market trends and competitor actions and make relevant recommendations to profitably grow the car business
• Gather product specification documents to identify project requirements
• Measure the impact of product changes and ensure the implementation matches what was planned
• Manage ongoing product performance, monitoring results and performing maintenance
