Summary

Alarm.com is seeking an Analyst, Investor Relations to support the company’s investor engagement and communications program. The role involves managing key contacts, preparing senior management for earnings calls, updating Wall Street consensus tables, and assisting with logistics for investor conferences among other responsibilities. Requirements include a B.A./B.S., one to two years of experience in communications, investor relations, or corporate finance, exceptional communication skills, strong organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills, and the ability to collaborate and self-start.

Requirements

• B.A./B.S. Required
• Ideal candidate has one to two years of experience in communications, investor relations, or corporate finance
• Ideal candidate possesses exceptional communication skills (including writing for business audiences) and a deep interest in communications and finance
• Must have strong organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills, and ability to collaborate and self-start

Responsibilities

• Hands-on execution of investor relations, including managing and maintaining key contacts
• Assist with setting up investor conference calls, analyst call-backs,  and meetings
• Update Wall Street consensus tables based on Analyst models and compare to company guidance/forecasts
• Support the creation of quarterly earnings releases, conference calls, and presentation content
• Prepare senior management for earnings calls and Q&A
• Prepare quarterly earnings briefing book for senior management
• Maintain and update IR database and track investor engagements and topics of interest
• Assist with logistics for investor conferences and schedules
• Travel to investment conferences
• Position involves some administrative duties as well
