Associate, Investor Relations Operations

Summary

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, finance, law or related fields
• 2+ years’ professional experience in capital formation and / or investor relations at a venture capital / private equity firm, asset manager or high growth venture-backed company, or in a reputable law firm having supported the capital markets and / or mergers & acquisitions (M&A) teams
• Strong project management skills with experience working across different teams, different clients, and different time zones
• Has had experience developing and optimizing marketing materials, legal documents and due diligence requests
• Demonstrated proficiency in Google Suite (Google Docs, Google Slides, Google Sheets) or Microsoft tools (Excel and Powerpoint)
• Familiarity with SalesForce or other CRM and database software

Responsibilities

• Report to and support the firm’s Investor Relations team coverage for Asia Pacific, providing assistance across the full spectrum of front office, middle office, and back office services
• Work with LPs through their due diligence, investment subscription and fund onboarding process, as well as periodic compliance exercises
• Maintain and manage our SalesForce system by logging all meeting notes and sales opportunities, and generating actionable summary reports on a routine basis for internal team meetings and updates
• Support the execution of virtual and in-person LP events such as general LP meetings, Annual General Meetings (AGMs), networking events, portfolio company meetings, and fundraising roadshows
• Collaborate with the APAC IR and Investment Teams to provide valuable insights for LPs, for example: monthly newsletters, coverage of portfolio companies, and investment partner views. Collaborate with the Global IR Team on identifying potential cross-selling investment opportunities for LPs
• Work closely with others in the Firm to understand and articulate its history, investment strategy and process, market positioning, competitive advantages, and different fund products
