Summary

Join Immersive Labs as an Associate IT Operations Systems Administrator in our growing Boston office! You'll be part of a scaling international team responsible for delivering a secure and resilient end-user experience. This role involves troubleshooting hardware/software issues, supporting users with various tools, enhancing internal documentation, and onboarding new employees. You'll also manage devices, maintain A/V equipment for events, and research new technologies. The position requires experience with cloud-based management systems and a strong understanding of MacOS, iOS, and Windows. Requirements

  • Experience with cloud based management systems such as Google Workspace, Automox and Jamf Pro
  • Strong understanding of MacOS, iOS, and Windows
  • Experience managing users in Onelogin or similar cloud-based identity and access management platform
  • Experience with Office 365
  • Strong understanding of SaaS applications and troubleshooting fundamentals
  • Willingness to spend time helping users understand the best use of available tools end user training
  • You have a learning mindset with willingness to embrace change, work through challenges, seek new opportunities to grow personally and professionally
  • Ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences

Responsibilities

  • Triage and work incoming tickets within Jira Service Management
  • Troubleshoot and fix/repair laptop hardware/software issues
  • Help current and new internal users navigate a variety of tools & SaaS applications used by Immersive Labs
  • Collaborate and enhance internal documentation
  • Lead new employee onboarding in the US
  • Build and deploy new joiner devices (Mac and Windows OS)
  • Setup, operate and maintain sound and video equipment for use at live events, such as meetings, business events/conventions, and webinars
  • Research and deploy relevant new technologies

Preferred Qualifications

Some knowledge of linux and WSL
