Associate Manager, People Operations

Summary
Join Lucid Software as an Associate Manager, People Operations and partner with the People Operations team to design and deliver an unparalleled employee experience. You will collaborate with department leaders to enhance the employee experience, manage a team of people operations specialists, and focus on new hire onboarding and employee immigration. The ideal candidate is a customer service-focused team member, an excellent communicator, data-centric, a trusted advisor, and passionate about creating an inclusive work environment. Responsibilities include managing Lucid's new hire onboarding program internationally, managing internal communication tools, partnering cross-functionally with various teams, assisting with global immigration needs, and managing department activities. You will also partner with the HRIS team to ensure data accuracy and assist in audits and compliance reporting. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 3+ years in People Operations, with experience in onboarding, communication, problem-solving, and process improvement.
Requirements
- 3+ years in a People Operations role; 1+ years as a manager of people preferred
- Experience onboarding new employees including systems administration and I-9 verification
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience public speaking/presenting
- An incredible level of attention to detail and organization
- Experience building and improving upon People Operations processes and programs
- Experience solving complex problems and working cross-functionally
- A love for creating beautiful, easy-to-understand presentations and documents
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, and/or other related field
Responsibilities
- Manage Lucid's new hire employee onboarding program at an international scale
- Manage a team of one people operations specialists
- Manage internal communications tool, Pyn
- Partner cross-functionally with IT, talent acquisition, hiring managers, payroll, etc. for new hire management
- Assist with global immigration and global mobility needs of employees
- Manage department and team specific activity planning and execution
- Partner with HRIS team to ensure functionality, ease of use, and accurate data management for new hires and tenured employees in Workday
- Manage or assist in various employee information audits
- Manage or assist in various compliance reporting requirements
- Research and recommend people process and program improvements as applicable
- Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with employment-based immigration and/or global mobility preferred
- Experience in Excel and/or Google Sheets (e.g. experience with vlookups and pivot tables), data analysis experience preferred
- Experience in a high-tech or a high-growth environment preferred
- Experience working with Workday or other HRIS preferred
