Summary

Join our client, a full-service integrated marketing agency, as an Associate Media Director for a 4-6 week contract! This remote position offers 20-25 hours per week at $65/hr, ideally Monday-Thursday. You will oversee media strategy development and execution across traditional and digital channels. Responsibilities include managing client planning teams, leading strategy development, serving as the primary client contact, and collaborating with internal and external teams. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in media strategy and planning, proven success in executing high-impact marketing campaigns, and experience managing media professionals and large client portfolios.

Requirements

  • 5-7 years of experience in media strategy and planning across search and display tactics, with a background in agency, retail, or brand environments
  • Proven ability to execute high-impact marketing campaigns that exceed KPIs, with full funnel media planning experience and familiarity with brand and performance media metrics
  • Experience working within integrated media teams, managing 2+ media professionals, and overseeing large client portfolios; strong skills in PowerPoint and proficiency in Excel preferred
  • Knowledge of ad serving and tracking platforms (e.g., Google Campaign Manager) and ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong understanding of the retail industry and knowledge of media planning and competitive tools such as comScore, Ad Intel, and Simmons

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day client planning teams to develop media strategies, manage media supervisors, planners, and coordinators, and ensure client satisfaction and business growth
  • Lead development of media strategies, RFPs, and partner selection; collaborate with internal teams on campaign performance, audience strategies, and financial reconciliation
  • Serve as the primary media contact for clients, build strong relationships, and align agency storytelling with client KPIs; ensure all planning materials and processes are up to date
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams on integrated media strategies, develop custom partnerships, and mentor junior staff to enhance expertise and client performance
