Summary

The job description is for an Associate Product Manager position at Axios' Storytelling, Publishing and Subscriptions team. Requirements

• 2+ years working within a software development organization
• Understanding of agile software development practices
• Familiarity in writing product specifications/tickets in Jira, or similar ticket-tracking tool

Responsibilities

• Managing product backlogs and maintaining product roadmaps that align with company objectives and goals
• Development of scoping documentation and clear and well-defined work tickets
• Being keenly aware of key performance metrics, reporting needs, business goals, and timelines
• Functional testing and the ability to troubleshoot issues
• Supporting the building of communication materials to represent your team and projects
• Collaborating with designers and engineers to translate features into appropriate user stories and acceptance criteria
• Providing stakeholders with regular updates and occasionally represent the squad at stakeholder meetings

Preferred Qualifications

1+ years preferred experience working with internal tooling or subscription management
