Requirements

  • Have proven experience as a Product Owner/ Product Manager, Business Analyst, or a similar role in an Agile environment
  • Possess exceptional communication skills, enabling you to clearly convey complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences, verbally and in writing
  • Be proficient with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or other product management platforms
  • Have strong analytical skills, with the ability to gather, interpret, and act on data-driven insights
  • Be passionate about understanding and addressing customer needs
  • Demonstrate leadership skills that inspire and foster collaboration across cross-functional teams
  • Excel at organization and prioritization, effectively managing competing demands in a dynamic environment
  • Have a strong technical aptitude and familiarity with software development concepts

Responsibilities

  • Conduct competitive research to help to inform strategy and competitive differentiation
  • Interview internal stakeholders and customers to get feedback on feature designs
  • Translate high-level feature ideas into actionable deliverables, such as epics, user stories, acceptance criteria, and user flows
  • Ensure developers have the product requirements and understanding to execute effectively
  • Build product launch materials, such as FAQs, help manuals, and feature videos
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, stakeholders, and the development team to align on priorities
  • Partner closely with designers to create cohesive user experiences that reflect product strategies
  • Participate in agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Communicate feature goals to ensure alignment within the team
  • Collaborate with Technical Project Managers to plan releases and mitigate risks to sprint goals
  • Monitor feature performance post-launch, identifying areas for improvement and optimization
  • Gather and analyze customer feedback to guide ongoing enhancements
  • Define and track metrics and KPIs to measure feature success and inform future development

Preferred Qualifications

  • Have experience with UX/UI design principles and user-centered design methodologies
  • Have a background in HR tech or SaaS products
  • Be familiar with the challenges and opportunities of working in start-up environments

  • Competitive Compensation. For this role our salary is targeted at $113,000 - $132,000 per year. Final offer amounts are determined by factors such as experience and expertise. We take a geo neutral approach to compensation within the US, meaning that we pay based on job function and level, not location
