Requirements

Maine State Licensure as either a Registered Dental Hygienist or Registered Nurse required

Responsibilities

  • Provide oversight of all Pilot activities, including supporting the School Oral Health Program (SOHP) Program Manager in monitoring project budgets, grant reports, and ensuring fulfillment of contractual obligations
  • Manage day-to-day Pilot operations
  • Recruit and retain school nurses to participate in the pilot activities, which includes but is not limited to recruiting seven school nurses from State of Maine public schools, providing training, ongoing support, ensuring compliance with care standards, and strategizing about scaling the pilot statewide
  • Maintain a close working relationship with stakeholder groups and State oral health efforts
  • Purchase supplies and equipment necessary for pilot activities, direct the various facets of Pilot evaluation, generate Pilot report

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degree in public health, dental hygiene, or nursing preferred
