Requirements
Proficiency in CAD, PV Farm or similar drafting applications
Responsibilities
- Assist in creating conceptual design layouts and zoning plans for photovoltaic (PV) power plants using AutoCAD Civil3D, PVcase , PVFarm , and other design tools
- Evaluate project site viability using GIS data and mapping tools
- Support the development of Stormwater and Erosion Control (SEC) and calculations
- Contribute to early-stage electrical layout designs
- Develop energy models using Plant Predict and PVsyst software
- Assist in estimating EPC costs by identifying and documenting site features that impact project budgets
- Collaborate with Interconnection Engineers to prepare utility interconnection applications
- Work closely with Project Managers to address challenges related to land use, system configuration, energy production, and construction costs
Preferred Qualifications
- 0-2 or more yearsβ experience in a similar role preferred
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field preferred
