Requirements

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Have 3+ years of audit experience in public accounting
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Standards for both US GAAP and IFRS frameworks
  • Be engaged with the end-to-end audit process
  • Possess strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting audit findings and advising on improvements
  • Exhibit a high level of attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing financial documents and transactions
  • Have the ability to analyze complex financial data and identify issues that may not be immediately apparent

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Audits: Perform financial, operational, and compliance audits to assess the organization's financial health, internal controls, and regulatory compliance
  • Examine Financial Records: Review and analyze financial statements, accounting records, and supporting documentation to verify accuracy and completeness
  • Identify Risks and Weaknesses: Identify potential risks, inefficiencies, and control weaknesses in an organization’s financial systems and processes
  • Prepare Audit Reports: Document findings, write detailed audit reports, and provide recommendations to senior management regarding improvements or corrective actions
  • Communicate Findings: Present audit findings to management, stakeholders, or regulatory authorities in a clear and effective manner
  • Follow-up Audits: Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure corrective actions have been taken

Preferred Qualifications

Have experience in tax preparation of simple tax returns
