Summary

Join WelbeHealth as the AVP, Technology and provide guidance, planning, and integrative management for IT services. Collaborate with technology leadership, head technology teams, and oversee organization-wide technology integration. Leverage participant and team insights to drive execution roadmaps and create an innovation strategy. Establish effective governance for delivery and prioritization, and act as a visible advocate for solutions impacting vulnerable seniors. Oversee direct reports, ensure adherence to IT standards, and revise IT strategies with state and federal requirements. Lead systems planning, analysis, selection, acquisition, implementation, and integration of IT systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree in computer science or relevant field; masterโ€™s degree preferred; professional experience may be substituted
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant and combined experience in healthcare technology services, systems implementation, business intelligence, or IT
  • Minimum of five (5) years of leadership experience with demonstrated ability to mentor and develop technology teams
  • Minimum of four (4) years of people and team leadership in a dynamic, enterprise-size organization is required
  • Experience leading in a data-driven organization, leveraging reports and data to prioritize and manage people and projects

Responsibilities

  • Use participant and team insights, emerging trends, and analytics to drive execution roadmaps, creating an innovation strategy that is understood and endorsed by key stakeholders including executive leadership, team members, customers, and partners
  • Establish effective governance for the delivery process and prioritization
  • Influence and orchestrate efforts across Product, Engineering, Operations, Growth, Performance Excellence, Technology, and Analytics teams to deliver the processes and technology enablers required for WelbeHealth team members
  • Act as a visible advocate inside and outside of WelbeHealth for solutions that positively impact the lives and health of vulnerable seniors by working side-by-side with key stakeholders and WelbeHealth colleagues and teams
  • Oversee direct reports including hiring, training, supervising, and mentoring, as well as step in and lead different teams and functions within IT as appropriate
  • Assure adherence of recognized standards for the use of IT services and technologies
  • Revise IT strategies with state and federal IT requirements, as well as lead systems planning, analysis, selection, acquisition, implementation, and integration of IT systems along with IT leadership
