  • Manage open enrollment periods
  • Assist with new employees in benefit programs
  • Reviews eligibility requirements
  • Approve life event changes
  • Maintain accurate Decks for open enrollment
  • Price/cost updates
  • Plan changes
  • Vendor updates and changes
  • Negotiate vendor contracts
  • Educate employees regarding benefits, provide information about coverage and cost
  • Benefit Claims/Issues
  • Work with insurance providers to ensure efficient and accurate claims
  • Work with employees to answer questions, investigating concerns, and escalating issues as required
  • Communicate with employees regarding their benefits, providing information about plan options, changes to benefits, and other relevant topics
  • Benefit Reporting and Audits
  • Provide month end reporting and analytics related to employee benefits
  • Conduct audits of employee benefit programs for billing and payroll deductions
  • Benefit Policy
  • Develop policies related to employee benefits
  • Understand and adhere to Federal, state, and local regulations
  • Collaborate with HR to ensure that employee benefit programs align with organization
