Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in benefits administration, benefits analysis, or people operations
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (e.g., VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
  • Experience working with HRIS systems and vendor data (e.g., eligibility, billing, integrations)
  • Familiarity with benefits financial processes, including budgeting, accruals, and invoice reconciliation
  • A self-starter mindset with the ability to identify problems and independently drive toward solutions
  • Detail-oriented with strong data accuracy instincts and the ability to question data sources
  • Comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams including HR, Payroll, Finance, and external vendors
  • Excellent communication and time management skills; able to prioritize tasks and manage deadlines

Responsibilities

  • Analyze benefits utilization, cost trends, and vendor performance to identify opportunities for program improvement and cost optimization
  • Assist with renewals, benchmarking, and plan design modeling; in collaboration with brokers and global vendors
  • Support financial reporting and track benefits expenses, including monthly reporting on budgeted items and the purchase order process
  • Partner with HR, Payroll, and Finance to streamline benefits operations and enhance the overall employee experience
  • Maintain HRIS-benefits integrations and vendor data feeds, ensuring accurate data exchange
  • Own benefits budget tracking and forecasting, including vendor spend and cost per employee reporting
  • Support financial reporting, accruals, and audit processes related to benefits
  • Administer day-to-day operations of global benefit programs including health, retirement, leave, and wellness
  • Coordinate payroll adjustments for retroactive enrollments or leave of absence top-off allotments
  • Ensure consistency of job and demographic data for eligibility and accurate vendor billing
  • Manage the purchase order process and vendor contract renewals
  • Liaise with HRIS and Finance to ensure data alignment and resolve issues
