Summary

Join GFiber's Billing team as a Billing Systems Specialist, Zuora, and contribute to delivering abundant internet on networks that are always fast and always open. As the primary technical support for our billing systems ecosystem, you will manage daily invoice run monitoring, month-end close processes, system performance monitoring, and serve as the subject matter expert for billing bugs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology or equivalent practical experience
  • 4 years in billing technical support or similar role experience
  • 3 years in the telecom or cable industry, or similar industry experience
  • 3 years of experience with Zuora or similar solutions
  • Ability to work non-standard working hours including nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotational and on-call basis

Responsibilities

  • Support daily invoicing monitoring, month-end close processes, and system performance monitoring
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for billing bugs and partner with operational, technical, and vendor teams to resolve
  • Manage billing systems configuration and systems access
  • Participate in system review, post mortems, and other business critical processes to ensure system performance
  • Participate in an on-call rotation as a subject matter escalation point to assist in triage and remediation of any system issue

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5 years of Zuora Billing administration (e.g., product configuration, Zuora Billing, Subscription Management, Payments, Integration, configuration, and Reporting) and maintenance
  • Zuora administration certification or other technical certifications (Billing)
  • Deep understanding of Zuora performance, workflow management, and optimization techniques
  • Experience integrating Zuora with other systems such as Salesforce, Netsuite, SAP, Oracle, Vertex, Avalara, SureTax, Adyen
  • Experience with billing transformation programs and billing/customer operations
  • Experience with data analysis and system debugging
