Billing Systems Specialist

Join GFiber, an Alphabet company that brings Google Fiber and Google Fiber Webpass internet services to homes and businesses across the United States. As our Billing Systems Specialist, Adyen, you will serve as the primary technical support for our billing systems ecosystem.

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology or equivalent practical experience
• 4 years in payments technical support or similar role experience
• 3 years in the telecom or cable industry, or similar industry experience
• 3 years of experience with Adyen or similar solutions
• Ability to work non-standard working hours including nights, weekends, and holidays on a rotational and on-call basis

Responsibilities

• Support daily payment run monitoring, system performance monitoring, and month-end close processes
• Serve as the subject matter expert for payment bugs and partner with operational, technical, and vendor teams to resolve
• Manage payment systems configuration and systems access
• Participate in system review, post mortems, and other business critical processes to ensure system performance
• Participate in an on-call rotation as a subject matter escalation point to assist in triage and remediation of any system issue

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 years of Adyen administration and maintenance
• Experience with Zuora Billing and Payment Gateway integrations
• Experience with card schemes, bank and payment gateway (preferably with Adyen)
• 2 years of experience with Adyen performance and optimization techniques
• 2 years of experience with fraud and risk profile configuration and tuning
• Experience with billing transformation programs and billing/customer operations
• Experience with data analysis and system debugging
