Requirements

• Proven experience in bookkeeping, reconciliation, and payroll
• Proficiency in Xero
• Solid understanding of Australian payroll, BAS, and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• Ability to work independently and remotely

Responsibilities

• Reconcile all financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records in Xero
• Prepare fortnightly payroll and ABA files for processing
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of superannuation obligations
• Monitor and report on outstanding invoices and payment follow-ups
• Prepare and summarise current payable items for approval
• Generate ABA files and submit in advance of scheduled payment dates
• Collaborate with the Accountant and CFO to support: GST, BAS, IAS reporting
• Collaborate with the Accountant and CFO to support: End-of-year financial documentation
• Ensure all financial reconciliations are completed weekly
• Respond to internal finance queries promptly
• Liaise with the Admin team to clarify any discrepancies
• Maintain confidentiality and integrity in all financial communications
