Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience with Australian bookkeeping functions
  • Proficiency in Xero (end-to-end bookkeeping), HubDoc
  • Strong understanding of transaction coding from source documents
  • Knowledge of Accounts Receivable and Payable processes and experience with payroll processing
  • Skilled in Balance Sheet reconciliation and BAS preparation
  • Ability to conduct Profit and Loss reviews
  • Ability to use and adapt to other accounting software as needed

Responsibilities

  • Perform full-cycle bookkeeping using Xero
  • Code transactions accurately based on source documents
  • Handle monthly Accounts Receivable and Payable reconciliations
  • Process and manage payroll
  • Reconcile clearing accounts and third-party app data
  • Post and review manual journal entries
  • Execute catch-up bookkeeping tasks as required
  • Prepare and submit Business Activity Statements (BAS)
  • Conduct regular Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss reviews
  • Manage practice administration tasks such as
  • Accounts Receivable follow-up
  • Client onboarding
  • Document filing and records management
