Join Chatterboxes, a team of experts in pediatric speech-language pathology, as a part-time virtual Bookkeeper on a contractual basis. You will be responsible for all bookkeeping functions using Quickbooks Online, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting (Master's preferred), at least 10 years of bookkeeping experience, and expertise in Quickbooks Online. You should possess strong accounting knowledge, proficiency in debits/credits, and the ability to reconcile accounts. Requirements
- Bachelorโs degree in accounting (Masterโs preferred)
- Expert in Quickbooks Online
- Minimum of 10 years experience in bookkeeping
- Proven experience as a senior level bookkeeper, with a successful track record of providing accurate and timely services to clients
- Strong knowledge and understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in debits, credits, and journal entries
- Ability to reconcile general ledger accounts and bank statements
- High aptitude with Computers and technology
- Deadline oriented, with an ability to work independently and in entrepreneurial manner
Responsibilities
- Categorize monthly expenses in QBO
- Close monthly and annual books on a cash basis
- You will be the driving force behind our pursuit of financial visibility as you create the foundation for accuracy through timely bookkeeping services
- Perform technical accounting tasks
- Prepare monthly reports, quarterly and annual reporting
