Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of remote bookkeeping experience with a US-based company (preferred)
• Proficiency in QuickBooks and other accounting software
• Strong understanding of US accounting principles and regulations
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Categorize transactions in QuickBooks accurately and efficiently
• Apply payments and reconcile accounts
• Communicate with customers via phone and email regarding unpaid invoices
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis as needed
• Utilize industry-specific software such as Jobber, GreenLite, WorkWave, or Service Titan (training provided if necessary)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with industry software like Jobber, GreenLite, WorkWave, or Service Titan is a plus
