Summary
Join Penta Group as a Brand Strategy Intern and play a hands-on role in bringing creative ideas to life. Collaborate with designers, strategists, and directors on real client projects, contributing to campaigns that tackle meaningful challenges. Lead landscape and competitive analyses, develop foundational planning documents, partner with creative strategy and production teams, and develop performance reports. Manage client feedback, provide copywriting support, and maintain a deep understanding of clients' industries. This internship offers a dynamic environment, impactful client work, exposure to various creative disciplines, and mentoring opportunities. The position is remote, requires 40 hours per week, and is open to US-based applicants who can work Eastern Time hours.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing undergraduate coursework, or holds a bachelors degree, with a focus in journalism, marketing, business, political science, or a related discipline being preferred
- Proficiency building compelling presentations using Google Slides or Powerpoint
- Experience using Excel or Google Sheets to present, organize, and analyze data
- Excellent written communication skills
- An interest in storytelling and creative conceptualization
- Foundational knowledge of Marketing, Advertising, or branding best practices
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple, competing priorities
- Strong analytical and project management skills
- Ability to take initiative; motivated and self-starting
- Strong attention to detail
- A highly intellectually curious mindset, with an interest in learning about new industries and creative project scopes
Responsibilities
- Lead landscape and competitive analyses to uncover insights that shape compelling creative platforms and brand strategies
- Collaborate closely with strategy leads to develop foundational planning documentsβensuring all creative briefs and strategy deliverables are insight-driven and brand-aligned
- Partner with creative strategy and production teams to translate strategic direction into integrated campaign rollouts across channels
- Develop performance reports in partnership with strategists to distill key campaign metrics and provide clients with actionable insights
- Manage and track client feedback, ensuring campaign optimization requests are clearly communicated and implemented efficiently across teams
- Provide copywriting and content development support to help bring creative concepts to life through clear, engaging, and brand-consistent messaging
- Maintain a deep understanding of clientsβ industries and market dynamics to proactively inform team strategy and creative decision-making
Preferred Qualifications
An interest in policy or political advocacy from past work experiences, or undergraduate course work
