Business Analyst

Summary

Join our team as a Business Analyst with Securitization expertise for a 6-month fully remote contract (with potential extension). This critical project for a major banking client requires passion for technology and experience in cutting-edge application development. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical and communication skills, along with a deep understanding of securitization processes, credit risk modeling, and relevant regulations. Agile/Scrum experience and proficiency in SQL are essential. This role demands expertise in translating business requirements into actionable deliverables and effectively managing stakeholders.

Requirements

• 8-12 years of experience
• Securitization Process knowledge (Portfolio composition, Economic Models for Securitization, Establishment of SPV, Deal mobilization / Structuring)
• Credit Risk Modeling experience
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum delivery team and knowledge of Agile methodologies and JIRA
• Strong SQL knowledge
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Very good stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Manage a critical project for a banking client
• Develop and manage cutting-edge technology applications
• Capture business requirements
• Translate business requirements to be developed, tested, and implemented
• Work as part of an Agile/Scrum delivery team
• Present complex data to senior management and stakeholders
• Work on multiple projects and adapt to evolving business needs
• Navigate through complex systems and data landscape, access business materiality, identify key gaps and apply assumptions to achieve a concrete business outcome
• Conduct functional and user acceptance testing, and end-to-end integration testing

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of credit risk, its assessment models (PD, LGD, EAD) and credit risk mitigation techniques
• Strong understanding of securitization transactions and economic models of securitization
• Familiarity with frameworks including Basel III, and relevant US/European regulations governing securitization
• Understanding of IFRS-9, fair valuation of assets - business model test
• Understanding of SDLC (requirement gathering, elicitation, prioritization and documentation – BRD, FRD, As-Is, To-Be)
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
