Requirements
- Are bilingual (English and French)
- Proven experience of 5 years as a Business Analyst, preferably working with AMANDA software or similar enterprise solutions within the gov tech sector
- Strong understanding of business process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation within government contexts
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with government clients, developers, and project teams
- Familiarity with software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) and project management concepts
- Proficiency in using requirement management tools and software documentation platforms
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
- Ability to manage conflict and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization
- Proactive and data-driven
- Have experience working with remote teams
- Must be willing and able to obtain/maintain a Secret-level security clearance through the Government of Canada
Responsibilities
- Work closely with government clients and stakeholders to understand their specific processes, objectives, and challenges
- Elicit, document, and prioritize clear and actionable requirements for AMANDA software implementations and enhancements within the gov tech sector
- Analyze and map current and future government processes to identify areas for improvement and optimization
- Create detailed business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams tailored to government agencies
- Ensure that requirements are comprehensive, well-structured, and aligned with both government expectations and software capabilities
- Facilitate effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders, ensuring a shared understanding of requirements within the gov tech context
- Coordinate with software developers, project managers, and QA teams to accurately translate government business requirements into software features
- Participate in the testing and validation of AMANDA software solutions for government agencies to ensure alignment with defined requirements and quality standards
- Collaborate with QA teams to develop and execute test plans, ensuring comprehensive coverage of government-specific scenarios
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements within the gov tech sector
- Identify opportunities for software enhancements and process improvements based on government user feedback and evolving needs
- Responsible for Granicus information security by appropriately preserving the Confidentiality, Integrity, and Availability (CIA) of Granicus information assets in accordance with the company's information security program
- Responsible for ensuring the data privacy of our employees and customers, their data, as well as taking all required privacy training in a timely manner, in accordance with company policies
