Business Analyst

Summary

Join our team as a Business Analyst (BA) focused on cloud data platforms! This remote position requires 4-6 years of experience. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business and technical requirements, collaborating with Azure Data Engineers to translate these needs into scalable cloud solutions. Your responsibilities include conducting detailed analysis, supporting design decisions, defining data quality rules, and managing project timelines and risks. Experience with Azure Data Engineering projects is essential, along with strong analytical and communication skills. Familiarity with ETL pipelines and data warehousing concepts is also required.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2+ years in Azure Data Engineering projects
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• Familiarity with ETL pipelines, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate across business and technical teams
• Understanding of data governance and data quality best practices

Responsibilities

• Work closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements
• Collaborate with Azure Data Engineers and architects to translate business needs into scalable cloud-based data solutions
• Conduct detailed analysis and support design decisions across data integration, transformation, and storage layers
• Assist in defining and validating data quality rules and governance processes
• Drive requirement sessions and ensure traceability throughout the project lifecycle
• Manage timelines, risks, and dependencies across multiple priorities and projects
