Business Analyst

Summary

Requirements

• Be a US Citizen
• Have experience with SQL queries
• Have knowledge of data schemas and data governance tools

Responsibilities

• Work with CMS and DMDG stakeholders to identify business requirements, translating them, and working with SCM to create user stories
• Participate in PI meetings
• Assist technical staff with documentation such as reports, SOPs, and any system specifications, as needed
• Identify and document business needs and requirements related to data management and governance
• Develop outlines and drafts for review and approval by technical specialists and project management ensuring that final documents meet applicable contract requirements and regulations
• Provide support over project functions and assist Project Manager with creating life cycle documentation for delivery to the client
• Assist in the areas of risk management, and lessons learned
• Assist with creating meeting agendas and meeting minutes
• Ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance with regulatory requirements
• Maintain, Improve and Track/Monitor progress of backlog items and user stories via regular scrum artifacts like daily scrums, backlog grooming, sprint planning, sprint reviews and sprint retrospective meetings
• Create reports and dashboards to support decision-making
• Participate in the entire product lifecycle to ensure all business requirements are met as per the stakeholders’ expectations and raise flags as soon as there is any deviation and then get the necessary clarification/feedback to resolve the issue

Preferred Qualifications

• Have five to six years of experience with Agile and SAFe
• Have Alation data governance tool experience
• Have a Bachelor's degree in management or related field
