Business Analyst

Summary

Join Lift Ventures, a remote-first startup studio, as a Business Analyst for SuperSummary, their fast-growing EdTech business. You will be part of the Business Operations team, focusing on improving business performance through reporting, analysis, and strategic insight development. This 100% remote role, based in Latin America, offers a chance to collaborate with senior analysts and cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment. Key responsibilities include building and maintaining dashboards, centralizing performance metrics, optimizing reporting processes, and supporting revenue forecasting. You will also analyze A/B tests, identify process inefficiencies, and collaborate on turning insights into action. The role requires strong analytical skills, experience with data tools, SQL knowledge, and a Bachelor's degree.

Requirements

• Strong analytical mindset and curiosity about how businesses grow and operate
• Experience with Excel/Google Sheets and basic data tools
• Knowledge of SQL (Python is a plus)
• Experience in at least one BI tool (Tableau, Metabase, QlikSense, Microsoft Power BI)
• Ability to turn data into clear insights and communicate findings effectively
• Comfortable and flexible working in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail, sense of ownership, and eagerness to grow
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Economics, or related field

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain dashboards and reports to monitor key KPIs
• Centralize performance metrics and create segmented views for deep-dive analysis
• Optimize reporting tools and processes to improve efficiency
• Extract, clean, and structure data for recurring and ad-hoc analyses (SQL required)
• Support revenue and retention forecasting to inform company strategy
• Analyze A/B tests and pilots to measure impact across squads
• Identify process inefficiencies and suggest improvements
• Document workflows to ensure consistency and knowledge sharing
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to turn insights into action
