Summary

Join Sweed, a cannabis retail solution provider, as a Business/System Analyst. We offer a comprehensive, all-in-one software solution for large cannabis retailers. You will define business needs, understand the current business state, propose solutions, communicate with partners, and evaluate solutions. This remote position requires 2+ years of experience in system/business analysis, strong understanding of relevant frameworks, and experience with Atlassian tools. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience as System analysis/Business Analysis
  • Strong understanding of Business Analysis frameworks and methodologies of eliciting needs and gathering requirements
  • Experience in system design and basic understanding of architectural limitations
  • Experience with describing use cases, changes in user interfaces, logical data model, in data bases, web-services
  • Experience with planning of releases and sprints
  • Experience with Atlassian tools including Jira / Confluence
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Upper-Intermediate and higher English level

Responsibilities

  • Define business needs. Understand what exactly the business wants to receive as a result of the development and implementation of the solution and why
  • Understand the current state of the business and align short-term issues with long-term goals
  • Solution proposition, considering effort/effect balance,transparently sharing pros and cons of the selected solution
  • Communicate with English-speaking partners
  • Evaluate the solution. Estimate the potential value for each option and walk business counterparts through the decision making process
  • Describe solution requirements in details. We use Confluence for documentation
  • Help the development team understand business needs, processes and limitations
  • Feature adoption design with the help of the support team
  • Process comments and suggestions, which are received based on the results of operation
