Business Credit Relations Specialist

Summary

Join Experian's Disputes Support Team as a remote employee, managing inbound inquiries from business owners regarding their U.S. business credit files. You will be responsible for resolving disputes, performing data updates using a custom application, and analyzing data for accuracy and compliance. The role involves managing multiple email mailboxes, editing SQL queries, and documenting case analysis. You will also educate businesses on dispute resolution processes. This position requires 3+ years of dispute-related experience and knowledge of commercial credit. Requirements

• 3+ years of dispute related experience
• Knowledge of Commercial Credit experience
• Motivated to meet performance goals
• English language skills (reading, writing, speaking)
• Intermediate PC and mainframe skills

Responsibilities

• Take inbound phone calls (generally business owners disputing information on their business credit report)
• Resolve disputes
• Perform manual data updates with custom data maintenance application requiring internal training and certification
• Perform data structure updates. This includes commercial data relationships, company hierarchies, and internal product delivery processes, well enough to perform sensitive data updates and communicate outcomes
• Edit & Implement SQL queries
• Manage multiple customer email mailboxes
• Analyze new data for accuracy and compliance
• Document all case-analysis work
• Communicate interim status and final disposition of disputes to the requestor
• Maintain a log of open and closed disputes
• Educate businesses on the dispute resolution processes and all information on a Commercial Credit Profile
• Responsible for other ad hoc tasks as assigned
