Remote Business Developer

Summary

Join Makpar as an experienced Business Developer to cultivate business opportunities at the Department of the Interior. The ideal candidate will have strong relationships with key decision makers, a minimum of 5-7 years' experience, and a deep understanding of their industry and customer issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology, computer science, or related fields, plus 5 years of relevant experience
• Must have hands-on relationships with key decision makers and have a track record of success
• US Citizenship or Green Card holders with at least 3 years of residence within the US
• Candidates will have to undergo public sector MBI Clearance

Responsibilities

• Have current experience and customer relationships within the Department of the Interior
• Must have relationships with key decision makers (not just contract officers)
• Looking for a min 5-7 years’ experience
• Understand how your customer procures their contracts
• Be able to Identify and research potential clients and seek out qualified opportunities
• Develop and maintain existing and new client relationships
• Work with internal support team driving opportunities to submit
• Gather useful information from customer and competitor data
• Make and give presentations to prospective clients and internal executives
• Track, identify and add qualified prospects to sales pipeline
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow business
• Be invested in industry by attending events, trade shows etc
• Be able to develop an Account Plan that drives to a Tactical Plan
• Have a level understanding of your industry/Customer issues and potential solutions
• Work collaboratively with the SA/CTO to define solutions around AI/ML
