Summary

Join our team as a Business Development Associate and play a key role in selling sponsorships and attendee passes for Opal Group events, while developing relationships with clients to secure their attendance. This is a remote full-time international consultant position with a salary of $1500.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • 1 - 3 years of experience in sales/sponsorships
  • Preferably call center customer service experience
  • Ability to meet monthly sales goals
  • Experience selling intangible services
  • Excellent communication skills, both writing and speaking
  • Outstanding interpersonal abilities, including the capacity to relate to people at all levels both inside and outside the business
  • Ability to interface with the Opal Group team, clients, vendors, prospects, and the public
  • Ability to conduct research and complete business transactions from A to Z

Responsibilities

  • Conduct prospect research and develop a plan of action for communicating the value of Opal Group Conferences to key decision-makers
  • Finding, pitching, sponsorship opportunities, as well as ensuring audience attendance
  • Discovery of new leads through LinkedIn, emails, research and tools that Opal provides
  • Logging all new leads, current interactions, and client updates in the CRM database
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in order to garner new business
  • Display professionalism and maintain constant correspondence with clients via phone and e-mail
