Summary

Join Clearsulting as their North America Business Development Director – Private Equity! This hybrid or remote role, with up to 50% travel, focuses on developing and executing the go-to-market strategy for the private equity sector. You will build relationships with key stakeholders, manage the sales pipeline, and serve as a trusted advisor. Success in this position requires a proven track record of growing a book of business within private equity. Requirements

  • Have 10+ years of relevant experience in financial consulting in private equity
  • Have 5+ years of experience in sales and/or business development
  • Possess a network of relationships across private equity firms and portfolio companies with a proven track record of successfully growing a book of business

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with leadership to develop, manage, and execute the go-to-market strategy and tactical roadmap for North America, specifically targeting the private equity sector
  • Build long-term relationships with key stakeholders in existing private equity accounts and target net new accounts within the sector
  • Be responsible for the end-to-end pipeline, including lead generation, and co-selling with our commercial and consulting teams
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and thought leader by staying informed on industry trends, market characteristics / dynamics, and competitor activities relevant to private equity
  • Understand client business issues and clearly articulate Clearsulting’s value proposition to effectively upsell and cross-sell across Clearsulting’s service offerings
  • Lead the strategy and execution of conference and event participation, including identifying relevant industry events, managing logistics, nurturing leads, facilitating post-event interactions, and analyzing ROI
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within the private equity sector, achieving sales targets, and contributing to the overall profitability of the region
  • Identify, develop, and manage strategic partnerships and alliances that complement Clearsulting’s service offerings and expand market reach
  • Conduct thorough market analysis, monitor competitive landscape, and adjust strategies as necessary to capitalize on emerging opportunities and mitigate threats
