Summary
Join Datacom as a Business Development Executive and represent the company to a wide range of government and corporate clients in New South Wales. You will be responsible for promoting Datacom's service offerings, developing new business opportunities, and exceeding sales targets. This role requires strong knowledge of the NSW market, experience selling complex enterprise solutions, and proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and vendors.
Requirements
- 10+ yearsβ sales experience, ideally with recent experience working in the Sydney/NSW market
- Self-motivated, driven, and a results orientated team player with a successful track record in sales
- Solid understanding of the NSW market
- Solid understanding of Application and Digital Engineering Solutions
- Understanding of a broad range of IT services with the technical nous to pick up new offerings
- Experience selling complex enterprise solutions to clients in a variety of sectors
- Ability to absorb, apply and communicate technical information to a diverse audience
- Excellent customer and vendor relationship building and management skills
- Strong influencing and negotiation skills
- Excellent written and oral skills
- Experience in using Sales Force as the sales CRM for tracking opportunity progression through the sales cycle
Responsibilities
- Represent Datacom to a broad range of customers, within Government and Corporate, promoting service offerings and developing new business opportunities
- Ensure targets are met or exceeded by selling Datacom service offerings including managed services, application development services, Cloud services and Infrastructure services and solutions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and vendors
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with/ good understanding of cloud based services/solutions would be highly desirable
