Business Development Manager

Summary

Join Agoric, an open-source software development company, as a Business Development Manager. You will be responsible for identifying and engaging potential partners, developing strategic relationships, and supporting sales efforts. This role involves market research, outreach, sales support, event participation, and collaboration with internal teams. You will contribute to expanding Agoric's developer and partner network. Success in this position requires experience in business development or growth roles within crypto projects, excellent communication skills, and a proven ability to sell complex solutions. A strong understanding of DeFi protocols and HubSpot experience are beneficial.

Requirements

• 2-3 years experience in crypto project in business development or growth roles
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to engage stakeholders at multiple levels within an organization
• You are a quick learner and comfortable with ambiguity
• You have a track record of successfully selling complex solutions

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential markets, trends, and partnership opportunities within the crypto and the fintech spaces
• Engage with prospective partners and stakeholders partnerships
• Assist in preparing pitch decks, proposals, and sales materials tailored to potential partners' needs
• Represent Agoric at cryptoevents, meetups, and conferences to network and promote our offerings
• Collaborate with product, devrel and marketing for client engagement and technical demonstrations
• Maintain and update CRM (Hubspot) tools to track leads, interactions, and deal progress effectively
