Summary
Join Axle Eight, a boutique digital marketing agency, as a remote Business Development Manager to drive new business. You will need at least 3 years of sales experience in a marketing agency setting, deep digital marketing knowledge, and exceptional communication skills. Requirements
- At least 3+ years in sales for a marketing agency, as a marketer, or as an agency owner
 - Deep understanding of digital marketing services, with the ability to confidently discuss strategies and solutions with senior executives
 - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead consultative conversations with executives confidently and effectively over video calls or in person
 - Ability to adapt and cater to clients from various industries with confidence and creativity
 - Comfortable in a remote, fast-paced, and self-directed environment
 - Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
 
Responsibilities
- Generate leads, prospect, and identify potential clients across various industries, targeting companies seeking monthly retainer-based digital marketing partnerships
 - Interact with key decision-makers, such as CEOs, CMOs, and marketing VPs, through networking, cold outreach, and other creative channels. Leverage existing relationships and marketing expertise to identify opportunities that align with our offerings
 - Present Axle Eightβs suite of services and provide tailored digital marketing solutions based on each clientβs unique business goals. Act as a trusted advisor by demonstrating expertise across marketing channels like paid media, SEO, content, social media, PR, and more
 - Build and deliver compelling proposals, negotiate contracts, and successfully close deals to meet or exceed sales targets
 - Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless handoff and onboarding of new clients
 - Contribute to refining the sales process and marketing materials to optimize lead generation and conversion rates
