Summary

The Business Development Manager will drive business growth in the renewable energy sector for Marathon Digital Holdings by identifying and developing opportunities, building relationships, leading sales efforts, managing pipelines, negotiating contracts, supporting project development, promoting brand visibility, monitoring trends, and adhering to ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor preferred in engineering, environmental science, business, operations, management or related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing roles, preferably within the renewable energy industry or related sectors such as clean technology, energy efficiency, or environmental consulting
  • In-depth understanding of renewable energy technologies, market trends, and industry dynamics, including solar, wind, hydroelectric, biomass, geothermal, and energy storage
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport, influence decision-makers, and close deals effectively
  • Ability to conduct market research, competitive analysis, and feasibility studies to identify new business opportunities, assess market demand, and position the company's offerings competitively
  • Excellent interpersonal and networking skills to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including potential clients, industry partners, investors, and government agencies
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts and value propositions clearly and persuasively
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, legal, and operations, to develop and execute business development initiatives
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation, sustainability, and driving positive change in the renewable energy industry
