Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Biology or related to Biological Life Sciences (advanced degree preferred)
  • Laboratory experience in Cell Therapy/Cell Culture required
  • Proven track record in business development and sales within the biopharmaceutical or cell therapy industries, with specific experience in selling bioreactor systems preferred
  • Strong understanding of bioprocessing technologies and industry standards
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel ~20% throughout the assigned territory as required

Responsibilities

  • Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and attending industry conferences and events
  • Qualify leads and manage the sales process from initial contact through to closure
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes for both the client and our company
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders within pharmaceutical and biotech companies
  • Understand client needs and challenges in order to position our bioreactor solutions as essential to their operational success
  • Conduct comprehensive market research to identify key players, market trends, and potential opportunities
  • Develop and implement strategic business plans to penetrate target markets and achieve sales targets
  • Utilize CRM tools and sales analytics to track performance metrics and optimize sales processes
  • Serve as a technical expert on our bioreactor products, providing guidance and support to clients and internal teams
  • Collaborate with our engineering and product development teams to tailor solutions that meet client-specific requirements
  • Promote our brand and products through presentations, demonstrations, and participation in industry forums
  • Collaborate with marketing to generate collateral and sales tools to effectively communicate product features and benefits
