Requirements

  • 0–1 years of professional experience in sales, marketing, business development, or a related field
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with proven ability to write, speak, and listen effectively
  • Willingness to take initiative and contribute to the ongoing development and optimization of the BDR function
  • A self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hyper-growth environment
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly, adapt to new challenges, and embrace a continuous improvement mindset

Responsibilities

  • Drive interest in Lightcast products by engaging prospective customers through cold calling, emailing, and other outreach channels
  • Follow up on inbound marketing leads, guiding them through the sales funnel and scheduling discovery calls with Account Executives
  • Build relationships with prospects to uncover pain points, qualify their interest, and ensure a smooth handoff to the sales team
  • Provide actionable feedback to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of the BDR function and overall sales process
  • Track and report on key metrics, successes, and insights from daily outbound activities
  • Collaborate across teams to gather and share best practices for messaging and outreach

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, ZoomInfo, Apollo, and other CRM or prospecting platforms
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
