Business Development Representative

Summary

Join Echo360 as a Business Development Representative and drive sales growth in higher education and corporate markets. You will identify and cultivate new market opportunities, focusing on lead generation, market analysis, and sales strategy execution. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to effectively position EdTech and corporate L&D solutions. Responsibilities include researching and identifying new markets, building a pipeline of leads, qualifying opportunities, developing go-to-market strategies, and collaborating with other teams. You will analyze market trends and report on sales activities. This is a fully remote position.

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in sales, business development, or market strategy, preferably in EdTech or SaaS
• Strong understanding of higher education and corporate learning environments
• Fluency with CRM tools including Salesforce, Outreach, ZoomInfo
• Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• Analytical mindset with experience in market research and sales performance analysis
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Research and identify new markets and sales opportunities within Echo360’s higher education and/or corporate market segments
• Build and nurture a pipeline of leads for new logo acquisition and expansion sales
• Qualify opportunities and build strong relationships with decision-makers
• Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to penetrate competitive sectors
• Collaborate with marketing, sales, and enablement teams to create targeted campaigns and resources
• Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform sales approaches
• Track, measure, and report on sales activities and outcomes
