Summary

Join OpenZeppelin's Sales team as a Business Development Representative and be the first point of contact for founders and investors in the Web3 space. You will research and identify partnership opportunities, map decision-makers, create outreach copy, schedule calls, and maintain relationships with partners. This fully remote position requires 2+ years of client management experience and a passion for blockchain technology. Excellent research and communication skills are essential. Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a client management role (sales, business development, partnerships, account management, etc), with great communication skills via chat and email
  • Passion and/or experience with blockchain technology, open-source, cybersecurity, or similar highly technical industry
  • Excellent research skills, ability to skim long documents and information, and identify key points
  • Concise communication style and ability to convey information in a short and clear format via text and video conferencing
  • Curiosity to learn new things and explore innovative ideas
  • Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks
  • Ability to manage your own time, report on goals, and assess the progress of your work

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify new partnership opportunities and projects that are an excellent fit for OpenZeppelin's services
  • Map decision makers on channels including, but not limited to, Telegram, LinkedIn, Discord, Forums, emails, conferences, etc
  • Create copy for targeted outreach
  • Schedule calls with potential partners and clients
  • Send timely follow-ups and track each partnership. Coordinate next steps
  • Maintain relationships with existing partners and clients, send updates about OpenZeppelin's news, and coordinate activity with the marketing team

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with Hubspot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email mining tools, and Messari
  • Experience selling products and services to developers and other technical customers
  • Experience working at a technology startup
  • Basic technical knowledge of smart contracts, DeFi, DAOs, and Layer 2 Rollups
  • Experience working at a fully-remote company
