Summary

Join PocketHealth's Business Development team as a Business Development Representative (BDR) and make a real impact on healthcare. As the first point of contact for prospective clients, you will build rapport, understand their needs, and showcase how PocketHealth exceeds expectations. Working closely with the Sales team, you'll prospect, follow up on leads, and generate opportunities. You'll experiment with outreach methods, maintain a professional network, and ensure a smooth handoff to the sales team. This role requires experience in health sciences, a passion for technology, and excellent communication skills. Requirements

  • Experience in the health sciences space (either through education or your career)
  • Passion and aptitude for technology/software and an innate desire to always be looking for β€˜what’s next’ to improve outcomes
  • Highly developed interpersonal and flawless written/spoken communication skills
  • Must be very comfortable communicating by phone or on Zoom

Responsibilities

  • Reach out to prospective clients, via phone, email, and social touches, to nurture them towards a meeting with Sales
  • Prospect into organizations and potential clients that relate to strategic focus areas for the company
  • Support our Sales team before, during and after meetings are set to ensure the best hand-off and overall experience for the prospective client
  • Experiment with different methods of outreach until you find the right mix that works best and can generate predictable results
  • Maintain a professional network; staying up to date with industry news, reviewing professional publications, and establishing professional relationships

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years’ experience in a similar role, with B2B enterprise SaaS experience preferred
  • Hands-on experience working with Enterprise CRM software (Salesforce)
  • Experience with social selling and using sales tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator), considered an asset
